Hand Extractor Plunger

Hand held clay extruders for pottery seem to be always of stock.

You can buy a caulking / sealing gun in your local hardware store, but the plunger they come with does not work well for clay. So I made a new plunger head.

Please check that the rod of the extruder ends in a M8 thread. I used the “NO NONSENSE FOIL AND CARTRIDGE APPLICATOR GUN” from Screwfix here in the UK.

This is a STL file which can be used to 3D print this plunger.

I use a filament printer and use the best layer height setting of 0.12mm to get a good thread. Infill is set to 30% to make it more solid.
