This is a spoon rest with a swirl pattern. The outside has a Temmoku style glaze, while the inside has brown hues. The top of the swirls on the inside have lighter accent. It is ideal for keeping cooking and baking spoons from dripping on your work surface. Where would you put your tea spoon and the tea bag after you make a cup of tea? You can use this spoon rest as a tea bag tidy, too. Made from flecked stoneware with an attractive, speckled effect. It was bisque fired, glazed and finally fired to more than 1200°C to create the beautiful glaze.
